+ Strategy + Creative Problem Solving + Content Planning + Design Thinking + Workshop Facilitation

I love facilitating workshops because I get to be with people as they get creative, share ideas and different perspectives, and sometimes even discover something new for themselves. From running design thinking and product brainstorms, to culture mapping – facilitating workshops is one of the most rewarding activities.

The process.

I design workshops according to the challenge at hand, from improving team collaboration and product vision alignment to igniting creative thinking. I love to plan the content, organise and facilitate engaging and playful workshops.

I consider the audience, goals, and context of each workshop to create a fun and engaging experience for participants. Below is an example of some of the workshops I have facilitated before, as well as some images from those workshops.

The workshops.

  • Culture Mapping Workshop

This workshop covers key insights from Erin Meyer’s book, “The Culture Map”, which imparts lessons about global teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration, including themes such as: communication, giving and receiving feedback, leadership styles, and how to build trust within a team. In this workshop, teams learn how to work effectively and sensitively with one’s counterparts in the new global marketplace.

  • Design Thinking Workshop

This workshop covers the fundamentals of Design Thinking and how to practically apply this methodology – from gaining empathy for the person you’re designing for, defining a point of view on how to tackle their problem, ideating solutions, building a prototype, to testing it with the person and getting their feedback on it.

  • Product Vision Brainstorms

This workshop creates an open space for team dialogue, by facilitating conversation, stimulating creative thinking, and helping with product vision alignment. This workshop aims to get teams brainstorming new ideas and agree on the top priorities. Additionally, it's also a means of fostering collaboration within the team, by bringing people together to discuss, brainstorm, and agree on these important topics.

  • User Journey Mapping

This workshop unleashes participants creativity through the use of storytelling. By plotting together the user’s story, this format gets teams thinking out of the box and problem-solving for the end user. The workshop outcomes are to have the user journey mapped and main product goals identified.

Creative warm-ups.

I always aim to bring an element of creativity and play into workshops and begin sessions with a creative warm-up to get everyone in the right mindset from the start. On the right are examples of creative warm-ups that I’ve facilitated in the past.

“Didn’t feel like a training,
but like a game. Amazing!”
